Photobiomodulation
What is Photobiomodulation?
Ongoing clinical and laboratory research into the effects of light to treat dermatological conditions and diseases during the past four decades, has led to the ongoing development of laser and non- laser phototherapy devices that can switch on the biochemical pathways in the body that assist in self – regulating inflammation and pain naturally, as well as supporting cellular energy production and cell regeneration and healing processes, which is described as photobiomodulation (PBM).
